Who removes the hoodie when the morning warms up—the child, a caregiver, or both? Steve’s full-zip account explicitly values easy on/off. The pullover evidence favors a familiar fit and feel but does not establish the same changing routine.
The fabric labels do not settle the closure choice
Both Full-Zip and Pullover list 60/40 cotton/poly material, a stringless hood and 12.4 oz. garment weight without a measured size. Full-Zip has split front pockets; Pullover has a kangaroo pocket. Shared numbers are not a reason to overlook which opening the child prefers.
- Try the child’s normal change with the intended shirt underneath.
- With Full-Zip, check zipper operation and whether the long sleeves Laura describes affect handling.
- With Pullover, check whether putting it on and removing it is comfortable without choosing an oversized body just for the opening.
Two separate appearance expectations also matter: NL found newer Full-Zip replacements thinner than an old hand-me-down; David reports Pullover color fading. Neither account establishes that the other model avoids that issue.
