A matching Stormtrek set has a shared fabric and membrane story, but it does not have one shared owner record. The jacket has both a successful downpour account and Dalton’s repeated wet-clothing complaint. The pant has a much smaller sample with one brief stay-dry report.
| Piece | Actual-use signal | Unresolved point |
|---|---|---|
| Jacket | Positive Wyoming rain outing and contrary repeated wetness | Cause and frequency of wetness |
| Pant | One brief over-pant dry-use account | Extended weather and wear history |
| Both | 20K/20K manufacturer claim | Captured test methods and comparable conditions |
Do not transfer the result across the outfit
The pant’s positive report cannot cancel the jacket complaint. Equally, a jacket complaint does not establish that the pant leaks. Keep the evidence attached to the piece and the original conditions, and ask for clarification when a report omits rain duration, underlying layers or the location of moisture.
Fit evidence differs too: Crawford finds room for a puffy under the jacket but a large hood; Marc likes the pant’s full-length zippers. Read the jacket and pant assessments separately before deciding on a set.
