Classic tee owners describe different changes: Justin says his long sleeve became smaller after washing and drying, Ellen says a tight short-sleeve neck relaxed, and a Realtree Edge owner reports fading. “It changed in the wash” combines three different observations that need separate records.
Make the before-and-after comparison repeatable
| Record before washing | Compare afterward |
|---|---|
| Chest width and body length laid flat | Whether the body actually changed dimensions |
| Sleeve length or hem position | Whether coverage changed |
| Collar shape and comfortable opening | Whether the neck relaxed or distorted |
| Color under the same light | Whether apparent fading persists in a fair comparison |
Use the same measuring method and lighting both times. Follow the care label on the actual garment; the captured descriptions do not justify prescribing a temperature, drying cycle or chemical treatment. Keep the label and order details if you need to report a change.
The long sleeve and short sleeve use the same stated 60/40 blend, but that does not guarantee identical post-wash behavior. Do not size up automatically to compensate for an unmeasured future change.
